Full-Service Packing
Our team packs your entire home from top to bottom. Dishes, books, clothing, artwork, electronics, decor we handle every room with the right materials and careful attention so everything travels safely.
Partial Packing
If you prefer to pack most items yourself, we can step in for the fragile, oversized, or hard to pack pieces. You handle the basics, and we protect the items that need extra care.
Fragile-Only Packing
Crystal, mirrors, TVs, artwork, marble, and glass pieces are professionally wrapped and boxed using reinforced cartons, padding, and the same techniques we use for high end designer moves.
Box Supply Only
If you want to DIY, we supply everything. Quality boxes, tape, clean packing paper, and guidance so you can pack confidently without cheap or reused materials.

Our team uses professional materials, reinforced cartons, and custom crating when needed to make sure every unique item arrives exactly as it left your home.
Whether it’s artwork, heirlooms, designer furniture, instruments, or delicate glass pieces, we treat each item with the precision and respect it deserves. When it matters most, you want pros who know how to protect it.
Artwork and Sculptures
Wrapped, padded, and boxed or custom crated with care. We guarantee proper labeling, upright positioning, and safe handling from start to finish.
Pianos
Upright, Baby Grand, and Electric. Every piano is evaluated in advance and moved using the correct equipment and manpower. Pricing is based on the piano type, weight, and conditions at both locations.
Flat Screen TVs
We offer complete TV packing. Our team brings the right box, removes the TV from the wall or stand, secures it with protective brackets, and prepares it for safe transport.
Glass and Marble Tops • Mirrors
Packed or crated to prevent cracks, chips, or shattering. These items are never shipped loose or unboxed due to safety standards.
Heirlooms • Antiques • Statues
Identified during the estimate and quoted separately. Each piece is treated with white glove care and secured in reinforced cartons or custom boxes.
Fitness Equipment • Safes
Handled with proper labor and equipment to ensure safety and protection. Disassembly and reassembly are available when needed.

Specialty Furniture
Evaluated case by case for disassembly, crating, and reassembly. We make sure each piece gets the specific care it requires.
Clothing & Wardrobes
Hanging clothes can be packed however you prefer. For convenience and fewer wrinkles, we recommend using our free wardrobe boxes on moving day.
eCrate Rentals for Tech & Files
Ask about our heavy duty, stackable eCrates with dollies. They are ideal for sensitive equipment, office gear, or large quantities of documents.
All specialty item handling is quoted based on size, weight, materials, and the logistics of both locations.

To ensure safe, efficient, and damage free moving, certain items must be properly packed or crated before being loaded. You are welcome to pack these yourself, or our professional packing team can handle everything for you.
Items That Must Be Properly Packed or Crated
Flat-Screen TVs
We offer a comprehensive TV packing service, which includes providing the box, removing the TV from the wall or stand, and securing it with mounting brackets. Upon delivery, we can reattach the base (if removed by our crew) and remove the box but we do not mount TVs or reconnect cables.
Lamps & Lampshades
These may be packed together in a single box with proper padding.
Glass, Marble, and Stone Furniture
Can be packed together in a single box with proper padding to prevent bending or tearing.
Mirrors, Picture Frames and Artwork
Require proper boxing or crating to avoid cracks, scratches, or breakage.
Electronics
Computers, monitors, stereo systems, and similar items should be packed securely with cables labeled or bagged for easy setup later.
Loose Décor, Collectibles, Fragile Items
Must be boxed correctly to limit movement and prevent damage.
Garage & Shed Items
Hand tools, toys, hardware, and small equipment must be packed in boxes or totes.
Clothing & Wardrobes
Hanging clothes can be packed however you prefer, though we recommend using our free wardrobe boxes for convenience and wrinkle prevention.
Yard & Lawn Equipment
These do not need to be boxed, but they should be clean and ready for transport.
Improperly packed or unsecured items may need to be repacked on site for safety, which can result in additional charges.

What We Do Not Pack or Move
To protect your belongings, our crew, and our equipment, certain items cannot be transported or require special preparation. Please review this list before your move so everything goes smoothly.
Items We CANNOT Transport
Hazardous or Flammable Materials
This includes gasoline, propane, fuel, lamp oil, welding tanks, aerosols, pesticides, herbicides, paint cans, fire extinguishers, ammunition of any kind, and any illicit or illegal substances including marijuana. These items pose safety risks and are prohibited by law.
Improperly Sealed Liquids
Liquor, spirits, bleach, household cleaners, and other liquids must be packed in sealed plastic totes with secure lids. Leaks can damage your belongings and our equipment, so anything unsealed cannot be transported.
Refrigerated or Perishable Food
We can move food and plants on local moves only. These are not allowed on regional or long distance moves due to temperature, time, and spoilage concerns.

Firearms
Must be secured in a locked case. Ammunition cannot be transported under any circumstances.
Valuables
Cash, jewelry, passports, medications, and other high value personal items can be moved, but we strongly recommend transporting them yourself. If you choose to include them in your shipment, they must be disclosed and properly packed. Please note that Samonas cannot be held liable for loss or damage without prior agreement.
Vehicle Transport
We do not move cars or motorcycles, but we are happy to refer you to a trusted auto transport partner.
