- Custom Wooden Crates: Durable, reinforced crates ideal for heavy and fragile items. Built to handle weight and protect during lifting and shifting.
Ideal for: antiques, furniture, framed artwork, pianos - Slatted Crates: Open-side crates for items that require airflow or temporary visibility. Ideal for: select artwork, temperature-sensitive pieces, certain plant moves
- Corrugated Crates: Double- or triple-wall cardboard crates. Lightweight and recyclable, but with surprising strength. Ideal for: electronics, TVs, small framed items, mirrors
- Insulated Crates: Maintain stable temperatures inside. Ideal for: sensitive artwork, instruments, or electronics
Each crate is built to match your item, not pulled from a shelf.
Our Custom Crating Process
To protect your property and our team, the following items cannot be packed by our crew or transported on our trucks:
- Item Evaluation
We inspect the item’s dimensions, materials, fragility, and environment. - Crate Design & Materials Selection
Based on your needs, we select wood, foam, insulation, or reinforced cardboard. - On-Site or Pre-Move Packing
The item is packed using high-density padding, shrink wrap, and stabilizers, then placed and secured in the crate. - Labeling & Transport Readiness
Each crate is labeled and marked to meet shipping requirements, especially for long-distance or storage. - Safe Loading & Delivery
Handled only by trained Samonas staff, no temp labor, no third parties.
